Slipping of the silicon band
« on: November 08, 2011, 08:15:59 AM »
I have only used it for about a month and already it is impossible for the silicon band to stay put where its supposed to. The penis is trying to pull back cause its under pressure, while that the silicone band is also pulled back and the result is that its getting loose. Thats a serious flaw in the design where you should attach the bandings, it doesnt hold anything. Basically atm i have to adjust them every 5 min cause its getting too loose. How am i going to see any results like that?

So i had to come up with a solution, because this really made wearing the AP uncomfortable. I used a piece of cloth instead of the silicone ring and used the silicone rings (both of them) to cover the top part of the device, so that it would hold the band in place. Works just fine, everything stays in place. I cant imagine people using the AP when moving around, like going to work or whatever.. but this method could make things possible. So you might consider improving the device, by making a small trench on both sides of the plastic piece and adding a special band, made of silicone or some other material, to give people a few more options on how to use the device and make it as comfortable for them as possible. Atm i feel our possibilities are quite limited. Just an idea tho, worked for me and maybe you can put it to good use.
